Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: 15 April 2025  ·  Effective: 15 April 2025

These terms govern your use of the Bayan Neural website and your participation in our courses. By accessing our website or enrolling in a course, you agree to these terms. Please read them before enrolling. If you have questions, write to us at [email protected].

1. Definitions

2. Acceptance of Terms

By enrolling in a course or submitting an enquiry through our website, you confirm that you are aged 18 or over, have the legal capacity to enter this agreement, and agree to be bound by these terms. If you are enrolling on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.

3. Service Description

Bayan Neural provides online courses in AI development topics, including software engineering fundamentals, MLOps, and prompt design. Courses are delivered in English and run in cohort format. Course availability, scheduling, and content are subject to change. We will communicate material changes to enrolled participants in advance where possible.

Access to course materials is provided for the duration of the cohort. Materials are not available indefinitely after cohort completion unless we state otherwise for a specific course.

4. Enrolment

Enrolment is confirmed when full payment is received and we send a written confirmation by email. We reserve the right to decline an enrolment at our discretion, in which case a full refund will be issued. Places are limited; submission of an enquiry does not constitute a confirmed place.

5. User Responsibilities

As a participant, you agree to:

We may remove a participant from a cohort if their conduct materially disrupts other participants or breaches these terms. In such cases, no refund will be issued.

6. Intellectual Property

All course content — including written materials, exercises, code examples, and session recordings — remains the intellectual property of Bayan Neural. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the materials for your own learning during the course. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from course materials without our written permission.

7. Payment Terms

Course fees are stated in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) on the relevant course page. Payment is due in full at the time of enrolment. We accept payment by the methods listed at checkout. Corporate invoicing is available on request. Fees are non-transferable to another cohort or course without our prior written agreement.

8. Refund Policy

If we cancel a cohort, enrolled participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to the next available run.

9. Course Completion and Recognition

Completion of a course does not constitute an academic qualification or professional licence. Course completion may be acknowledged by a letter or certificate of participation at our discretion. Bayan Neural does not guarantee any specific outcome from completing a course, including but not limited to employment outcomes, salary changes, or professional advancement.

10. Disclaimers

Our courses are provided as educational content. Bayan Neural is not liable for decisions made based on course content. Course content reflects the state of knowledge at the time of writing and may not reflect subsequent developments. We make no representation that course content is suitable for any specific professional purpose.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, Bayan Neural's total liability to you in connection with any course shall not exceed the fee paid for that course. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from your participation in our courses or use of our website.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to a course if you breach these terms. You may withdraw from a course at any time, subject to our refund policy. Termination does not affect any rights or obligations accrued before the date of termination.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from these terms or from participation in our courses shall first be addressed through direct correspondence. Where disputes cannot be resolved informally, they shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia, specifically those in Kuala Lumpur.

14. General Provisions

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify enrolled participants of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Updated terms will be published on this page. Continued participation after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
